In Greece philosophy was found too much and philosophers . Socrates one of the most greatest philosophers grew up in the capital city of Greece which is Athens. The Greeks also made many medicines and were good in science.
People in Greece are very intelligent and they had a very good society . The culture in Greece was found in every one as there were so many great men in greece who were cultured like Socrates the great philosopher.
The Greeks had a great man called Phidippides who is the ideal of Olympics . He ran a very great distance from Athens to Sparta. He ran 240 kilometer , with out a rest, he ran this distance in 48 hours.
The Greeks were fond of plays and story-telling , and one of the most famous Greek storytellers was a famous poet called Homer, who some people say was blind. Homer lived about 3000 years ago. He wrote two famous poems, The ILIAD and The ODYSSEY.
The Greeks were very good in art and architecture. They drew mainly on vases and some times on the walls. They drew great men , gods etc.
The religion of Greece is called the Greek Orthodox. The Greeks had more than one god . They had a god for the river ,the thunder , hunting ,beauty , the god of the gods , etc. The Greeks also had Myths . Myths are old tales . The first flight is one of them.
Greece had many great men like Socrates the great philosopher, Plato, Aristotle, Homer, Pheidippides, Alexander and Odysseus.
